Larry Wilson tries to corral the John Boy & Billy Big Show from 6am to 10am in the mornings, then gently rocks you to sleep at night from 6pm to midnight. Did we say gently? Yeah... right! And check out Larry's sarcastic view on the world and his desires to "thin the herd" on his blog!
Consider a different path

You can ask the folks I work with, my sister, my wife.....on my best day, I’m less than a “handful of sunshine” .
I admit my mood runs anywhere between aggressive to sarcastic. I’ve been told it’s a defensive mechanism and since my therapist has a bunch of letters after her name, she is probably right.
How you end up is an ongoing process. When I was a kid I was always happy, telling jokes, etc. Over time, things tended to get darker and lets say “less positive.” Life itself has a way of grinding people down.
Along those same lines, it seems the holidays are the perfect time for depression. Suicide rates go up, as do calls to hotlines, and even to 911 for domestic violence. Maybe its seeing how happy others are...when you aren't. Maybe its the financial pressure to "give till it hurts". Whatever the reason it can seem like you are losing the battle...that the odds are against you,,,,,that THIS is the best it will ever be.
Maybe, just maybe, you can change your perspective and maybe that same change can have an impact on those around you.
Now I’m not saying I’ve suddenly started watching Dancing with the Stars, or consider Al Sharpton more than a cheap hustler. I’m just a little more willing to appreciate what I have versus being so quick to tell someone to F off.
Now, about that “life changing” song. It’s about being thankful for what you have.
